Pret A Manger CEO to headline Arena's Savoy Lecture

Headlining this year’s Savoy Lecture is Pano Christou, CEO of Pret A Manger.

The Lecture takes place on the evening of Monday 22 April 2024 at The Savoy in London. Tickets are currently still available.  

The event sees a panel of senior leaders coming together to discuss their individual businesses and growth strategies. 

The Savoy Lecture has been the centrepiece of Arena’s event calendar for nearly 30 years showcasing both UK and global senior industry leaders as its speakers.

About Pano Christou

Pano has been CEO of Pret A Manger since October 2019. Pano’s journey with Pret began 23 years ago when he joined the Carnaby Street shop as an assistant manager back in 2000. He worked his way up through the business to become managing director of Pret UK in 2014 and COO at the start of 2019. Pano also sits on the board of Espresso House, a Scandinavian coffee chain.

In recent years, Pano’s focus has been steering Pret through the COVID-19 pandemic, adapting Pret’s business model, including the launch of Club Pret.

Pano has continued to build Pret into a global brand, while also driving forward its ongoing support for the Pret Foundation as one of the charity’s Trustees.

At this year’s Savoy Lecture, Pano will discuss Pret’s growth strategy, their expansion into South Africa, the development of their franchise business, new innovations and more.
