Hylands Park, Chelmsford
At Foodies Festival you can watch MasterChef champions, as well as Michelin-starred and top local chefs, cooking their signature summer recipes in The Chefs Theatre. The line-up includes Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown, and finalists Laura Adlington and Dave Friday, along with MasterChef: The Professionals champions Alex Webb, Thomas Frake and Irini Tzortzoglou.
You can also learn how to make showstopping cakes with the Bake Off stars in The Cake and Bake Theatre. Indulge in afternoon tea staples such as lemon drizzle loaf, delicious buns and chocolate delights, as well as gluten-free and vegan sweet treats.
15th – 16th October
Plant Based World Expo
Business Design Centre, London
Plant Based World Expo, which is organised by JD Events, will offer hospitality professionals the opportunity to discover more about plant-based foods, to help create exciting and tasty dishes that rival the rest of their menus. It is the only place to learn about the benefits of plant-based diets, connect with world-leading suppliers and learn from experts that are transforming meat-free meals, all under one roof.
Meat alternatives will be in the spotlight, as many people look to reduce their intake by choosing recognisable meals that don’t contain animal products. This will be Europe’s first business event dedicated to plant-based foods.
18th – 19th October
European Pizza and Pasta Show
After being forced to take a year out, the European Pizza and Pasta Show returns as a bigger event with more cooking programmes and competitions. The Show, which is now five years old and is supported by The Pizza Pasta and Italian Food Association, will feature a broad range of exhibitors from around the world covering all sectors of the market.
As well as showcasing some of the innovations that have emerged recently, it will provide a much-needed opportunity for this £4bn UK industry to get together and network. It will also host the UK Pizza Chef of the Year finals.
22nd – 23rd October
Love Cheese Live

Love Cheese Live is the UK's largest cheese weekender, including cooking inspiration, shopping and tasting. It boasts a fantastic line-up of the UK’s best chefs and experts cooking live; the finest dairy brands; exciting new flavours; the latest trends; and carefully selected independent producers of the finest food and drink from across the country.
You can also learn how cheese is judged and what it takes to be the best. With over 5,000 products on display as entries to the International Cheese and Dairy Awards, there's a lot of cheese to learn about – from the very best cheddars to the finest fetas.
