WASABI EXPANDS WITH NEW CHEAPSIDE OPENING

The central location will open on 21 October, catering to the heart of London’s business district

Wasabi is expanding its London estate with the opening of a brand-new site in Cheapside this month - right in the heart of the City.

Close to St Paul’s Cathedral, the new site will cater to Cheapside’s bustling office community, bringing their fresh, bold flavours to the heart of London’s business district.

The layout balances speed and efficiency for takeaway customers with comfortable dine-in seating, offering flexibility for a wide range of customer occasions.

The new Cheapside opening marks Wasabi’s 34th London site, reinforcing the brand’s continued investment in its people, infrastructure, and long-term growth across the UK.

This latest site launch follows the successful opening of Wasabi’s first franchise location at Luton Airport restaurant earlier this summer, which has already seen strong performance since its debut.

Henry Birts, CEO of Wasabi, said: “Cheapside represents another important step in our London expansion. The City remains a key area for us, and this new central site reinforces our commitment to growing our footprint in locations where we know there’s strong demand for fresh, high-quality, great-value food”.
