Chipotle and Virgin Sport have launched a free weekly 8km to 10km training run club, which will start and finish at a Chipotle restaurant in London. Members of the Virgin Sport & Chipotle Run Club will be treated to 2-4-1 burritos, salads, tacos and burrito bowls after each session.
The initiative is part of the Virgin Sport Hackney Half training runs programme, which encourages participants to sign up for sessions ahead of the Hackney Half Marathon on 19th May.
Jacob Sumner, operations director for Chipotle in Europe, said: “We are delighted to partner with Virgin Sport to launch the Virgin Sport & Chipotle Run Club. We already have a huge fitness fanbase and it feels like a natural progression to offer our customers the opportunity to build up a healthy appetite by taking part in a free weekly run club before refuelling with Chipotle.”
Jessica Frey, CEO of Virgin Sport, added: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Chipotle to offer our runners some hard-earned replenishment after Hackney Half training runs. Have you guac what it takes to join us?”
