Deliveroo has announced that, following its success in using data insights and the edge Frank algorithm to improve delivery for consumers, it will use this knowledge and experience to provide restaurants with personalised services to help their businesses. This will be powered through Restaurant Home, Deliveroo’s powerful new portal that gives restaurants insight and analysis.
It comes as the company reveals for the first time a borough-by-borough breakdown of the most popular cuisines in London. While burgers remain the overall favourite in London, it also found that salad and poke are the most popular choices in The City.
Managing director Dan Warne said: “Deliveroo is proud that our growth has helped boost restaurant sales and allowed our partners to reach more customers with amazing meals. We have already used data and tech to make delivery more efficient and reliable, but we want to make sure we are providing restaurants with the insights that help them grown even more. That’s why we are rolling out tools and analysis for restaurants to help them to seize the opportunities that delivery provides to them.”
